Sure in the end I will have to upgrade but at the moment i dont see a reason why.Īlso remember that the computers of some Users (not mine) are not fast enough or lack the RAM for windows 10 (and a game). It requires more Ram than an OS should be allowed (which is also win 7 issue but they didnt improve it at all). (Sends everything to microsoft servers, as if my local machine couldnt do a local speech recognition). Cortana cannot be deactivated by normal means and eats System ressources. I use Windows 10 on my non-gaming Laptop (not much choice there). Higher Texture resolutions and would make a bigger diffrence for example than any anti alaising. (sure you can up anti antialaising to 8x and then get magnifying glass to look for the difference but thats not what i would call "making a difference" Quality wise. Game Performance improvements with new Windows Versions were always an outright lie and I fail to see how an RTS would require significant ressources of a modern PC. This will always be the case with newer Windows / Direct X versions and cannot be avoided, but i dont see any signifcant advantages of newer directx versions.Īnd as of yet there is no windows 10 only game for which i would want to switch.

Upgrading to windows 10 will cause some older games not to run. Note this comment is not at all about sudden strike just about win10 and gaming in general:
